The Jean Foillard 2022 Beaujolais-Villages is a beautifully expressive 100% Gamay that combines juicy red fruit, vibrant acidity, and the mineral character associated with Foillard’s terroir-driven style. Sourced from parcels around Villié-Morgon, Lancié, Saint-Amour, and Saint-Étienne-la-Varenne, it offers an elegant, refreshing interpretation of Beaujolais-Villages.

Aromas and flavors of red berries, cherry, raspberry, violet, spice, and mineral-rich earth lead into a silky, mouthwatering palate with lively acidity and supple tannins. The wine is traditionally made with whole-cluster fermentation in concrete tanks for approximately 15 days, followed by seven months of aging in concrete. It is bottled unfiltered, with no added SO₂ during vinification, allowing the Gamay and its granitic origins to shine through.
